Syrian no-man land3 viewsWe'd gone through the border crossing and travelled for a few minutes, so I assumed we were in Syria heading toward the night's hotel. In reality, we were in a DMZ between Jordan and Syria. My passport was found with an Israeli stamp, and, despite my Syrian visa already accepted, I was not allowed to continue. It's not a good picture, but the last of the trip <sigh>.Sep 16, 2011

View to Israel - 23 viewsOne turn right from previous shot, the picture I dreamed of during my first visit to Israel. Then, gazing from Tiberius wondering what the topography looks like from the east. We look diagonally across the Sea of Galilee (from the southeast corner) to Tiberius. Also note the two hill ranges-- great shot of "Lower" and "Upper" Galilee.Sep 16, 2011
